Motor cooling protection
Flow sleeves force water past the motor before it reaches the intake. That maintains the cooling flow needed to remove heat and protect submersible motors.
We custom manufacture stainless steel flow sleeves for submersible pumps of all sizes and configurations. Each sleeve is built to direct cooling water past the motor according to manufacturer requirements, and can be configured to support devices mounted below the pump, including the Lamnaflo Suction Flow Control System. We custom build these units and ship them anywhere.
These sleeves are used where natural flow paths do not provide adequate motor cooling velocity, and wherever the assembly needs a durable stainless platform for accessories installed below the pump. They are also widely used as cooling shrouds in many other applications.

We build sleeves for small and large pump assemblies, standard and non-standard dimensions, retrofit applications, and unusual well or screen conditions. The same construction serves as a cooling shroud in a wide range of installations.
Sleeves can be fabricated to accommodate the Lamnaflo Suction Flow Control System and other components located below the pump, with support rings, cable notches, adapter sections, and special clearances as needed.
When a pump is set in a wide casing, screened interval, or open-water condition, water may take the shortest path to the intake and bypass the motor. A properly designed sleeve changes that path and makes the cooling flow travel along the motor housing first.
